  1. Concrete floor (base)
  2. Steam insulation film

    The film creates moisture proof insulation in the basement and semi-basement (with ground-level floors) premises. Protection of the foundation and walls from capillary moisture (placed directly on the substrate). It can be used as a layer that replaces the thin concrete.

  3. Heat insulation system tiles made from expanded polystyrene

    As an insulation material the expanded polystyrene EPS 100 is used. Its tasks: heat insulation of foundations, thermal insulation, and slope protection. The expanded polystyrene is composed of a flame retardant material to prevent burning. Maximum flammability class D1.

  4. Metallic reinforcing netting for screed

    The reinforced screed is, in fact, part of a concrete product that can withstand compressive, flexural, tensile loads. The reinforcing elements incorporated in the body of the screed, perform the following functions: protect against the appearance of cracks in the screed during drying time; protect from cracking and expanding when exposed to mechanical stress or vibrations; increase the strength of the screed; prevent sagging of the substrate; increase the service life of the screed. The reinforcing of the floor screed with wire netting is the most popular type. For this purpose we use reinforcing netting made from steel wire with the mesh size of 10x10 cm or 15x15 cm, and a cut of 4 mm. This netting is suitable for the screed 4 cm or more thick.

  5. Self-leveling quick-binding mixture

    Cement self-leveling mixture for leveling of substrates for further facing works. Strengthened self-leveling fiber putty for floors is designed to create smooth surfaces on wood and mineral substrates, especially in reconstruction works. The self-leveling mixture has high elasticity and is suitable for walking loads.

  6. The waterproofing layer (Mastic)

    Multifunctional material used in the installation of waterproofing of interior premises, foundations, as well as in all cases when there is a need to protect the surface or premises from water.

  7. Installation of the finishing substrate (linoleum, laminate, parquet etc.)

Preliminary works

The base of the floor is cleaned and checked for smoothness. If there is an abnormality, it is best to make a rough leveling. When the rough screed dries completely, we lay a vapor barrier sheet, compulsorily putting on the walls.
Heat insulation of the concrete floor with expanded polystyrene is made in two layers. At first, the first layer is applied (in which the subsequent seam falls into the center of the plate), followed by the second. The reinforcing netting on special racks is mounted over the expanded polystyrene and the self-leveling quick-binding solution is poured. After complete hardening of the substrate, the waterproofing layer (mastic) is applied to stop the water from appearing on the substrate and avoid destruction of the heat-insulating coating.

Steam insulation film

To protect the heat insulation material from condensation we use a steam-insulating film, the film membrane protects the material and prevents from the flow of a condensate into the premise. The incorrect installation of the vapor barrier sheet entails excessive accumulation of vapors inside the heat insulation systems and, as a consequence, the destruction of the heat-insulating coating.

Method of application:

The material is mounted directly on the insulated surface with an overlap of 10-15 cm.

Heat-insulating material that prevents the outflow of heat from the room.

Method of application:

Mounted directly on the substrate without the use of adhesives for expanded polystyrene.
The joints between the expanded polystyrene blocks should be filled with mounting foam if necessary.

  • Resistance to biological impacts; the material does not rot or decompose, is not a habitat for a variety of small insects and microorganisms.

Cement self-leveling mixture for leveling of substrates for further facing works.

Method of application:

The installation of self-leveling solution is made by hand with the help of a spiked roller. The solution is mixed with water and poured onto the substrate. A needle roller is used for the removal of air bubbles and distribution over the entire surface.
Recommended thickness of layer - 2-10 mm. The joining of subsequent parts of the mass is performed in the time interval of not more than 10-15 minutes. While working it is necessary to avoid direct sunlight, draughts, low humidity, and extreme temperatures. The solidification time depends on the temperature, ventilation, and absorbing qualities of the substrate.

  • Aligning the wooden substrates.
  • Operating coatings of 2 to 10 mm., with layers above 10 mm. it is necessary to add 1/3 of quartz sand.
  • For internal works.
  • Suitability time of the solution 20-30 min.
  • After 2 hours it is allowed to walk on the screed.
  • Suitable for heated floors.
  • Complies with PN-EN 13813.

Method of application:

Clean the surface from contamination, dust, dirt, and grease stains. Mix before application. The waterproofing layer is applied to the substrate with a brush or fur roller. The mixture is considered dry if the surface is not sticky.

  • Resistant to weakly acidic and weakly alkaline mediums.
  • Can be used with expanded polystyrene.
  • Ideal for indoor use.
  • Very high adhesion to subsequent waterproofing layers.
